GFE Annual Conference Registration

Conference registration is open exclusively to grantmakers and donors. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to participate in the conference, please read our membership criteria or contact Barbara Dibs at barbara@edfunders.org.

Registration deadlines & fees

Early bird (before Aug. 3)	$ 500	$ 625
Regular (before Sept. 4)	$ 600	$ 700

Reduced registration fees are available to staff and trustees of organizations that are members of GFE or Donors Forum (Illinois). Foundations that send at least three staff or trustee representatives also will receive a discount of $40 per person off the registration fee.

Registration deadline is Friday, September 4. Payment is due by September 4 or your space will be released. After September 4, we will continue to accept late and onsite conference registrations on a space-available basis, subject to a $30 surcharge.

We are pleased to offer a meals-only guest registration that includes participation at the host event and all meals, but no conference sessions or site visits. The guest fee is $250.

Cancellations and substitutions

A refund minus a $50 processing fee will be granted for cancellation requests received by September 4. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after September 4. Substitutions may be made at any time. All refund and substitution requests must be made in writing.

Hotel Reservations

GFE's 2009 conference will be held at The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago. The room block rate is $269/night plus tax and is based on availability. Reservations must be made before September 4, 2009 in order to receive the discounted rate.

This is a no-solicitation event designed for foundation staff and trustees, corporate funders and donors.
