Out-of-School Time Impact Group COVID-19 Call Series

Join the GFE Out-of-School Time Impact Group for an ongoing conversation centered on learning about the impacts of COVID-19 on the out-of-school time sector and how funders can respond. Each video call will highlight at least one focus area and feature experts in the sector and philanthropy.

  • June 19: Ready for Now: Approaching Learning with Science, Equity, and Multi-Sector CollaborationLearning is happening. In every relationship, in every context, in every moment, there’s the potential opportunity for young people to grow and develop or not. As communities consider options to re-engage with children and youth broadly, the moment is now to step up for equity and supports essential for all youth to thrive, in ways not imagined before, informed by science and grounded in practice. Leaders from The Readiness Projects--including the Forum for Youth Investment, the National Urban League and the American Institutes for Research--will share their approach to sparking connections and collaboration across the youth fields. Join in to explore ideas and discuss the role of philanthropy in supporting young people’s development.
