Lessons for Funders on Movement-Building: the Four Freedoms Fund and Immigrant Justice

Program Dates
April 30, 2021 12:00 p.m. ET

Virtual - Later this month, Carnegie Corporation of New York will release a new report that profiles the Four Freedoms Fund (FFF) and explores its successes and challenges in building a nationwide movement for immigrant justice. When created in 2003, FFF—housed at NEO Philanthropy—supported just a handful of organizations; by 2020, it supported 144 grantees in more than 30 states and Washington, DC, and provided more than 60 grantees with capacity building and technical assistance.

On April 30, join a webinar to discuss the report’s findings, answer questions on best practices in movement-building, and explore how these lessons can be applied by other funders across a diverse set of issue areas.

Join Carnegie Corporation of New York, its grantee partners, and its cosponsors. The report will be sent in advance of the webinar to those who register.
