Closing the Nation's Digital Divide: Invitational National Summit on Digital Equity

Program Dates
March 5-6, 2018

Washington, D.C. - The National Collaborative for Digital Equity is working closely with Grantmakers for Education (GFE) and an exciting consortium of other national partners to hold a national invitational summit on digital equity on March 5-6, 2018 at the NEA headquarters. GFE’s new impact group on digital equity will be featured. The event will provide guidance from a national banking advisory council on how community and educational leaders in high poverty communities can best tap funds under the Community Reinvestment Act and other sources to support local systemic digital equity initiatives in support of educational and economic opportunity. Funders will learn about resources addressing why and how to make investments in digital equity that are evidence-based and systemic.

Registration is free to attend and showcase resources at this working summit. For more information, please go to http://digitalequity.us/national-summit.html or contact Dr. Robert McLaiughlin at rmclaughlin@digitalequity.us or 1.802.249.1159.
